Guidelines
Authors submitting to the journal should follow specific guidelines for manuscript preparation, including:
Manuscript Types:
- Original Research Articles: Up to 7,000 words, presenting novel research findings.
- Review Articles: Up to 4,000 words, providing comprehensive overviews of specific topics.
- Case Reports: Up to 2,500 words, describing unique clinical cases.
- Clinical Trials, Editorials, Commentaries, Short Communications: Up to 2,000 words.
General Formatting:
- Language: Manuscripts must be in British or American English (consistent throughout).
- Font: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-space the text.
- Title Page: Include the title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author's contact details, and any acknowledgments.
- Abstract: Max 250 words for research articles (structured into Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion).
- Keywords: 4-6 relevant keywords.
- Abbreviations: Define all abbreviations upon first use.
Manuscript Structure:
- Introduction: Brief background and objective of the study.
- Materials and Methods: Detailed description of study design, data collection, and analysis to allow reproducibility.
- Results: Present findings clearly, using tables or figures as needed.
- Discussion: Interpret results, compare with existing literature, and note limitations.
- Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and their clinical relevance.
- Acknowledgments: Mention those who contributed to the research but aren't authors.
- References: Follow the Vancouver citation style.
Figures and Tables:
- Figures: High-resolution (300 dpi), labeled and submitted as separate files (JPEG, TIFF).
- Tables: Numbered and self-explanatory. Must be referred to in the text and placed after the reference section.
Ethical Compliance:
- Human/Animal Studies: Ethics approval must be obtained and cited in the manuscript.
- Informed Consent: Clearly state that informed consent was acquired for human studies.
- Conflict of Interest: Declare any potential conflicts of interest.
- Funding Statement: Disclose funding sources.
- Manuscripts must be submitted online.
- Upon submission, manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
- Authors will be asked to revise the manuscript based on reviewer feedback.
- Final proofs will be provided for approval before publication.
Authorship Criteria:
All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, data acquisition, or interpretation, and approved the final version of the manuscript. Changes to authorship (addition or removal) must be agreed upon by all authors.
